‘Fasgadh’ (meaning ‘safe place/shelter in Gaelic) is a traditional village house built around 200 years ago which has recently been totally renovated to a very high standard. Offering ‘small but beautiful’ accommodation, ‘Flavour of Scotland’ breakfasts, and superb Highland hospitality in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, your comfort is our priority - whether you stay for one night or one week.

Ideally situated in the idyllic coastal village of Poolewe, the house overlooks the village green and the River Ewe as it flows into Loch Ewe. With wonderful views across the loch to the mountains beyond and the famous Inverewe Garden. There are a variety of walks in and around the village and otters are often seen on the shore close to the house.
‘Fasgadh’ is within a few minutes walk of the village shop, post office and local Hotel which offers evening meals in the Bistro and Restaurant.

Stunning sandy beaches are a few minutes drive away at Firemore, Mellon Udrigle and Gairloch..

Poolewe is a hive of evening entertainment with Family Ceilidhs being held weekly throughout the summer months and Village markets take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays 1000-1430.
